At the union rally before the marc, District 1 VP Chris Sheldon spoke as well as a CWA members from Staten Island who survived Super Storm Sandy but lost their homes. Other union leaders and the president of the Sierra Club spoke at rally.

Here's a update from retired union brother Steve Tisza of CWA Local 4250 RMC in Chicago: Petitions were finalized on April 11, 2014. Steve Tisza Petition TOTAL SIGNATURES = 8,096. Mary Jo Winkler-Kaifer TOTAL SIGNATURES = 4,603. A GRAND TOTAL of 12,699 SIGNATURES presented to AT$T at the District 6 Retiree Rally at AT$T Headquarters on Wednesday, April 16, 2014!

Thanks to all who made 2013 a great year.
Together, we brought the chapter back from a long deep sleep, passed by laws, elected officers, held regular well attended meetings, and participated in rallies and activities with other retirees and active union members.
A special thanks to the officers and staff at the Local for their support and assistance, and to their counterparts at District 1 and the International, who helped us bring our chapter into the 21st century.
